In a Nutshell

I got my degree in Art History in Mexico City, where I was born. I have taken numerous art classes and workshops in the US where I have lived for many decades.  I have learned and continue doing so from many excellent artists.  

The inspiration for my paintings comes from my  native Mexico: its art and its crafts, from my travels, my surroundings and my memories .

My prints
I do my own archival ink jet prints (Giclées). I use the best artist paper to make my reproductions really look like originals.

I have a studio at home in Marshall, Michigan

I prefer to take pictures and paint at my studio . Sometimes I do sketches outside and paint inside.
